Located in the textile city of Xi'an, the textile city is located in the east of the main urban area of Xi'an and the west of Baqiao District. The whole textile city has about 6 textile enterprises and a small number of other enterprises, covering an area of about 7.3 square kilometers, with a population of about 200,000. Since 1953, the textile city has been located and constructed. It is one of 156 key projects constructed during the First Five-Year Plan period and one of the important textile production bases in China at that time. As an important textile industry town in China, the textile city in the 1970s and 1980s was the weathervane of the textile industry in Xi'an and even in the northwest of China, creating a glorious history of the textile industry, once known as the "small Hong Kong", and making outstanding contributions to regional economic development, national export earning foreign exchange, and employment arrangement.
Under the new system, the connection between the building blocks is strengthened. The ground floor of the building is distributed with various public spaces, such as production workshops, experience workshops, exhibition halls, commercial retail spaces, event plazas, etc. The three floors of the multi-story building are the public service part of the hotel. The fourth to seventh floors are the living part of the hotel apartment. Its spatial distribution form is not the hotel form in the traditional sense. Instead, the public space is scattered in the hotel space. This form of space distribution can strengthen the connection between the private and public parts, increase the communication among people in the building, and is conducive to the spread of culture in the textile city.
